Vick: Bad guy or bad judgement?Pot-big-joint

Dog fighting, marijuana, what’s next for “Con”-Vick?

There has been a continued debate as to whether disgraced Atlanta Falcon quarterback is a bad guy or just an individual with incredibly poor judgement. The dog fighting charges against Vick are as heinous an act as there is. The visual imagery of the treatment of dogs that win in the pit are bad enough as compared to the ones that lose or are deemed not viscous enough to even compete.

Michael Vick supporters and apologists have stated that he is not a bad guy, just someone who used bad judgement. That might be the understatement of the year. I guess this is just more Vick bad judgement.

Vick’s positive urine sample was submitted Sept. 13, according to a document by a federal probation officer that was filed in U.S. District Court on Wednesday.

Now after all the dog fighting allegations, charges, the apologies and acceptance of a guilty plea, Michael Vick has failed a drug test that shows he tested positive for marijuana. There comes a point and time where one just has to stop making excuses for an adult and just call Vick for what he is … a spoiled, pampered, immature athlete … who is a bad guy. Vick has no regard for the consequences of his actions. He just does not care.

The disgraced Atlanta Falcons quarterback tested positive for marijuana earlier this month, a violation of the conditions of his release as he awaits sentencing in federal court on a dogfighting charge that already jeopardizes his freedom and career.

Now, he’s incurred the ire of the judge who could sentence him to up to five years in prison in the dogfighting case. On the day of Vick’s guilty plea, U.S. District Judge Henry Hudson warned that he wouldn’t be amused by any additional trouble.
