Even Newsweek Calls Barack Obama for What He Is, an Epic Failure … Hit the Road Barack: “It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. And the sad truth is that he has not.”

Hmm, even the liberal media seems to have had enough and is cutting their losses to save their credibility.

Newsweek’s latest cover ‘Hit the Road Barack, Why We Need a New President’. Ouch, that is going to leave a mark.First it was the Boston Globe the other name demanding a Biden apology and now this. Is the media actually going to hold Obama’s feet to the fire when it comes to Obama’s promises? I doubt that will occur; however, it is amazing that any liberal publication would allow something like this on the cover of their magazine. As stated at the PJ Tatler, could this be the tip of the iceberg, “His analysis of the Obama presidency is so thorough and devastating it cannot be completely ignored by the mainstream media, no matter how much they may wish to”.

Despite having been—full disclosure—an adviser to John McCain, I acknowledged his opponent’s remarkable qualities: his soaring oratory, his cool, hard-to-ruffle temperament, and his near faultless campaign organization.

Yet the question confronting the country nearly four years later is not who was the better candidate four years ago. It is whether the winner has delivered on his promises. And the sad truth is that he has not.

In his inaugural address, Obama promised “not only to create new jobs, but to lay a new foundation for growth.” He promised to “build the roads and bridges, the electric grids, and digital lines that feed our commerce and bind us together.” He promised to “restore science to its rightful place and wield technology’s wonders to raise health care’s quality and lower its cost.” And he promised to “transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age.” Unfortunately the president’s scorecard on every single one of those bold pledges is pitiful.

Any honest individual who does not have an Obama drink of Kool-Aid in fron of them knows that Obama and his polices have been a failure and America and Americans have suffered from them. Unemployment has been over 8% for 42 consecutive months, a record number of people are on Food Stamps, government spending is through the roof and we have record debt. The Middle East is a tinder box ready to explode at any second as gas prices are heading over $4 a gallon, Medicare and Social Security are on their way to insolvency and what is Barack Obama concerned about … Romney’s taxes.

NewsBusters asks the important question, why does a liberal mag like Newsweek headed by Tina Brown & the Daily Beast?

So why with less than three months to go before Election Day would they publish a 3,200-word cover story severely criticizing Obama whilst basically endorsing his opponent?

Could it be the Daily Beast/Newsweek combination has not been attracting the kind of readership they expected, and they believe a little objectivity was in order?

Or is this just a tiny dose of conservatism before a deluge of the most biased Obama-loving/Romney-bashing imaginable?

So will other liberal outlets jump on board and reports Obama’s first term as the failure that it truly is? We shall see. It is a tipping point for the old media and liberal outlets, are they willing to continue to shill for Obama or report in a credible manner and save their industry?
