New Democrat Message for Midterm Elections, Forget to Discuss Two of the Key Points of Obamacare, “Don’t Say it Will Reduce Costs & Deficits”

How do Democrats want to win in November… they hope that you forget all the lies that they told you! In other words, don’t discuss and remind the voters that Obama, Pelosi and Reid passed Obamacare against the will of the people.
Democrats worried about this years 2010 midterm elections and their disconnect with people under 40, non-college-educated women and Hispanic voters, have a plan … LIE TO THEM!Get this, Democrats have decided on how to defend Obamacare, a law that by a 60% to 36% of Americans want to repeal. How do they intend to do this? According to the Politico, Democrats are not going to discuss that Obamacare will reduce costs and the federal deficit.
There is just one really big issue with this, actually two. President Barack Hussein Obama stated that there were three principles of Obamacare … reduce health care costs, individuals keep their own doctors and all Americans must have quality and affordable health care. Um, the only problem is that it was all a lie and that Obamacare will increase health care costs.
Wizbanghas a great slid by slide analysis of the desperate acts of an even more desperate party. Did they really not think that all this was going to come back on them and that there would be hell to pay? As Kim states regarding this strategy … “Sure, this new strategy sounds like a real winner…for Republicans.”
Key White House allies are dramatically shifting their attempts to defend health care legislation, abandoning claims that it will reduce costs and deficit and instead stressing a promise to “improve it.”
The messaging shift was circulated this afternoon on a conference call and PowerPoint presentation organized by Families USA — one of the central groups in the push for the initial legislation. The call was led by a staffer for the Herndon Alliance, which includes leading labor groups and other health care allies. It was based on polling from three top Democratic pollsters: John Anzalone, Celinda Lake and Stan Greenberg.
The confidential presentation, available in full here and provided to POLITICO by a source on the call, suggests that Democrats are acknowledging the failure of their predictions that the health care legislation would grow more popular after its passage, as its benefits became clear and rhetoric cooled. Instead, the presentation is designed to win over a skeptical public, and to defend the legislation — and in particular the individual mandate — from a push for repeal.
As the Weekly Standard states, The truth is that Obamacare cannot be improved. It can only be repealed. The American people know it and so do Democrats. That is why they want Americans to completely forget all that Dems have done against the will of the people. Or as Weasel Zippers more bluntly puts it, “Yeah, It Sucks, But We’re Going to “Improve it”…” Can we really afford to have Democrats fix the mess that they have created? In the long run, they do not think they have broken any thing, they just want to remain in power and will say, or not say anything to do so.
