President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Democrat controlled Congress forced Obamacare down the throats of Americans in a partisan, Un-Constitutional manner and “We the People” continue to be even more furious as the days go on.
For those in denial that think that the people will forget or embrace Obamacare, you have much to learn and will do so in the upcoming midterm elections. Obama has even acted in defiance of the American people by stating he welcomes the challenge from Republicans of repealing Obamacare.
Barack Obama has tried to sell his failed health care boondoggle to the people even after they passed the bill into law. Why, because the people cannot stand the government take over of health care and they do not trust the government.
The following CBS Poll shows that support for Obamacare continues to slide as The One goes out and tells the people how great it is. 53% of Americans disapprove of Obamacare, while only 32% approve. In fact, more people strongly disapprove of the Obamacare law as compared to those who actually approve.
The public is increasingly skeptical of the health care reform bill signed into law last week, a new CBS News poll shows.
More Americans now disapprove of the legislation, and many expect their costs to rise and the quality of their care to worsen; few expect the reforms to help them.
President Obama has continued to tour the country to stump for his new set of reforms. This week he went to Portland, Maine, where he told people it will take more than a week for the benefits of reform to become apparent.
Fifty-three percent of Americans say they disapprove of the new reforms, including 39 percent who say they disapprove strongly. In the days before the bill passed the House, 37 percent said they approved and 48 percent disapproved.
The average against Obamacare in the polling is now at +11.7 from Real Clear Politics.
The truth of the matter is that the more Obama tries and tell the American people that this health care law is good, the more oppose it. Even support from Democrats slipped in the most recent polling numbers.
As Hot Air stated, who would have thought that we have yet to see the basement for support of Obamacare?
The American people do not trust Obama’s words that health care will reduce costs and the deficit, nor should they.
When confronted with opposition from the American people, Obama and the Democrats basically disregarded the will of the people and went forward with this liberal, progressive suicide mission. Obama kept telling the people, you will like it. The fact of the matter is that “We the People” hate this reform and as the Strata-Sphere states, the “D” in Democrat will stand for DEFEAT come this Fall’s midterm elections. They seem to think we are heading for 1994 and the defeats that Democrats suffered that election year. I send to think the carnage will be even worse in 2010.
Thanks to Obama’s liberal tunnel vision, supported by the liberal madness of Congressional leaders in the House and Senate, it seems being a “D” in 2010 is going to be the mark of political Defeat in 2010. Polls are starting to come out showing just how big the backlash is brewing outside the beltway. And I am not one of those buying the meme that a summer with no change in health care costs or upswing in economic activity is going to dissipate this wave. In my opinion this is just beginning to rise.
Sadly, Obama and his band of socialist, Marxist Democrats seem to not care one bit about further angering the American people as they have on their agenda “Cap & Tax” and “illegal Immigration” reform.
Come November, the American electorate will be so furious at Barack Obama and his socialist agenda of America that Democrats will pay a dear price in bother federal and state elections. The losses will be so sweeping and devastating in 2010 and 2012, that Democrats may never recover.
