US Rep. Phil Hare (D-IL) Admits: “I Don’t Care About the Constitution”

“I Don’t Care About the Constitution” … Welcome to the new political bumper sticker for the 2010 and 2012 elections to combat the liberal left.

Are you serious? This is what the Democrat party has become. Now they openly admit they don’t care about the US Constitution. At least he is honest I guess.  Great work from Adam Sharp at Sharp Elbows.  I guess Congressman Hare has forgot the oath he took:

“I, (name of Member), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

“I don’t care about the Constitution … I believe that is says we have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

It is probably safe to say that most Democrats feel the same way. US Constitution be damned.

WHAT? This US Rep was asked about the US Constitution and gave a quote from the Declaration of Independence. Um, do you think he knows the difference between the two? As the Gateway Pundit asks, “So, who here believes this lib who doesn’t know the difference between the US Constitution and Declaration of Independence read the 2,000+ page Obamacare bill 3 times?”
