Haisong Jiang, Newark Liberty Airport Exit Crasher Arrested for Security Breach

Lessons learned from the Newark Liberty International Airport security breach debacle.
If we cannot prevent a simple individual who had no ill intent to cause a terror act against the US slip under a security rope to join his girlfriend at an airport … HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO STOP THE TERRORISTS WHO WANT TO KILL US!!! How are we supposed to protect individuals from the terrorists when there is such gross negligence in dealing with common situations?
Haisong Jiang, the man who caused complete and utter chaos at Newark Liberty International Airport last Sunday when he caused a security breach has been tracked down and arrested.
A mystery no more … Port Authority police have nabbed their fugative. Too bad the folks at Newark Liberty International Airport could not have properly done their jobs last Sunday and prevented this mishap and security breach from the start!
Port Authority police took Jiang into custody at his home in Middlesex County around 7:30 Friday night, spiriting him to an airport administration building. He was questioned there for several hours and charged with defiant trespass, a disorderly persons offense.
At 12:14 a.m. today, a bewildered-looking Jiang was released. His head down, he walked past a throng of reporters, photographers and television cameramen and to a waiting Chevy Impala, which shepherded him away.
28 year old Rutgers University student Haisong Jiang admitted that he was the individual responsible for the security breach and entering the unguarded exit of the airport as the TSA security camera failed to record the actions of the man.
Rutgers University student Haisong Jiang, 28, admitted he was the man caught on security cameras walking down a security checkpoint exit lane into the secure area, Port Authority police said.
Jiang said, “You got me,” when Port Authority cops nabbed him at his Piscataway, N.J., home. He’s accused of defiant trespass but could face more charges, cops said.
The suspect, clad in a tan windbreaker and black pants, cowered behind cops and ignored reporters’ questions as he was led from Port Authority police headquarters at the airport Friday.
Public Terrorism enemy #1 was nabbed for the security breach after the TSA guard stepped away. I am sure that is part of his protocol as a TSA security guard.
Security video shows Jiang loitering around a supposedly secure exit on Sunday manned by a Transportation Security Administration guard in the terminal for several minutes.
When the guard steps away from his post, Jiang scoots under a security rope to join his girlfriend.
The two lovebirds then can be seen hot-footing it, arm-in-arm, into the secure part of the terminal.
From NJ.com: Punishment for accused Newark airport breacher Haisong Jiang does not fit the crime. Actually, the writer of this story should be more peeved at the TSA and the fact that after so many years following 9-11, the very people responsible for security and safety are derelict in their duties!!!
Now we know his name.
And we also know why security isn’t taken seriously by people like him.
Haisong Jiang, 28, of Piscataway, was arrested tonight for creating the security mess at Newark Liberty International Airport Sunday night.
And for that he was going to be charged with defiant trespass, a disorderly persons offense.
