However, as much as this may seem as a beyond questionable decision by Roberts and a short-lived win by Barack Obama as The One and his minions spike the healthcare affordable act football … Chief Justice Roberts calling Obamacare a tax just handed the GOP a huge game changing issue not only for Mitt Romney, but also for numerous House and Senate election in 2012. As Romney stated in his post SCOTUS decision, “the only way to get rid of Obamacare is to get rid of Obama”. Add to that regain the US Senate and maintain the House.

Was the dissent vote actually the majority vote at one point and the individual mandate was to be declared unconstitutional? Who knows at this point and it changes little if it was proved to be true. It would appear that Roberts was more concerned with a result orientated decision and making the Court look non-political than actually following the US Constitution.
