Oops, He did it again and guess what White House … he’s not that innocent.
Communist dictator, Kim Jung-Il of North Korea has tested yet another nuclear device. This time in response to the UN Security Council not apologizing for previous sanctions against North Korea. Hold the phone, The U.N. Security Council called an emergency meeting Monday after world leaders reacted with outrage to North Korea’s latest nuclear test. This time the UN Security Council is going to draft another weak, pathetic and useless memo condemning Kim Jung-Il that he will laugh at.
Art imitating reality in Team America World Police. Warning: this version, all though more fitting and to the point also has graphic language, be warned.
North Korea earlier said it had tested the weapon in an underground explosion, provoking an angry response from the world’s governments.
It had threatened to conduct the test if the U.N. Security Council did not apologize for imposing sanctions on North Korea after it tested a rocket April 5.
The secretive communist state also apparently test-fired a short-range missile Monday, the White House said.
Is this more of the type of diplomacy we have to look forward to? Kim Jung Il and Madeleine Albright toasting glasses (H/T: Michelle Malkin)
There is no need to speculate whether Kim Jung Il conducted a second nuclear test, As Don Surber says, just ask him and the answer is “yes”.
Should this come as a surprise? Not at all … John Bolton predicted North Korea’s latest nuclear test in the Wall Street Journal on May 20, despite the Obama administration’s happy-go-lucky attitude toward Kim’s regime:
The prediction is more words and more talk from Obama
President Barack Obama’s reaction to Kim Jung-Il was that nuclear and missile tests conducted by North Korea were a “grave concern to all nations” Obama is going to need more than sound bites, words and another useless stern warning from the United Nations to deal with this threat.
As Michelle Malkin states, Kim Jung Il will be shaking in his boots over these tough words from Barack Obama. Barack, we are going to need more than words off a teleprompter on this one.
Text of statement by President Barack Obama on nuclear and short-range missile tests conducted by North Korea.
Today, North Korea said that it has conducted a nuclear test in violation of international law. It appears to also have attempted a short range missile launch. These actions, while not a surprise given its statements and actions to date, are a matter of grave concern to all nations. North Korea’s attempts to develop nuclear weapons, as well as its ballistic missile program, constitute a threat to international peace and security.
So what can we expect from Obama? He claims the world must stand up to North Korea, yet maybe he would like to take the opportunity to discuss how the United States should eliminate its nuclear weapons stockpile.
Maybe Barack Obama would like to discuss ending the missile defense program as well? Is it safe to say that the “Kumbaya National Security Obama approach” may not be the change that is in the best interest of America?
