VIOLENCE ERUPTS AT HOT97 SUMMER JAM CONCERT …
In a year in which unruly crowds, violence and throwing bottles at police officers has become the norm … add the disturbance at last nights Hot 97 Summer Jam concert to the list. Out of control concert go’ers threw bottles at police as seen below in the VIDEO. Just curious, was that the Meadowlands or a third world country by the looks of the violence, tear gas and out of control behavior. The concert was headlined by Kendrick Lamar and Chris Brown. Really folks, who ever remembers seeing this at a Beach Boys concert?
A major hip-hop and R&B concert erupted into violence after State Police lobbed tear gas at concertgoers who were throwing bottles at police in the parking lot.
Witnesses say the disturbance began around 7 p.m. due to an altercation between concertgoers. That’s when officials shut the gates to the show, the Hot 97 Summer Jam at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, causing a logjam of people at the MetLife gate, which in turn led to metal barriers being toppled and thrown.
After concertgoers began throwing bottles in response, police then took up a defensive V-shaped position in front of the stadium gates as a barrage of bottles pelted the officers.
An armored State Police vehicle came into the middle of the crowd and activated a piercing alarm to try to disrupt the crowd of about 1,000 people.

New Jersey State Police blocking gates outside of the Hot 97 Summer Jam 2015 at MetLife Stadium had bottles thrown at them by angry people in the crowd who were trying to get inside — some without tickets — and they later used tear gas to try to disperse them, according to officials.
Crowds at major hip hop concert became upset Sunday night when the gates were closed and blocked off by police in riot gear. An armored state police vehicle began blasting a piercing loud noise to try to disperse the crowd and police later deployed tear gas.
State police said crowds of people tried to “illegally” force their way into the sold out concert and became upset when the gates were closed and blocked off. Police said crowds began climbing over fences and forcing their way through security personnel. The gates to the stadium were shut and troopers were called in to help maintain order, police said.

Statement regarding tonight’s Summer Jam concert at MetLife stadium.
This evening, security personnel at one of the entrance gates to MetLife Stadium were confronted by crowds attempting to illegally enter the sold out Summer Jam concert by climbing over fences and forcing their way through security personnel. The gates have been shut and troopers on site have called for assistance from several nearby stations to help maintain order.
Troopers and stadium security officials are insisting that all people outside of the gates depart the MetLife grounds to avoid congestion when the concert lets out. There is no number of arrests available at this time.
This is what happens when you create an atmosphere that the rules do not matter and the police are to be blamed for all situations.

Note to concert go’ers, you get treated like you act. Who in their right mind conducts themselves in this manner and does not think their is going to be a reaction by police? Do you think the rules and laws of the United States of America don’t apply to you?
The situation became so volatile, a CBS2 camera man was forced into his vehicle while police apprehended a man on the ground.
