SUSPECT NAMED IN THE CASE OF MISSING BUD AND JUNE RUNION …
28 year old Ronnie “Jay” Adrian Towns has been named a suspect in the case of missing Bud and June Runion from Marietta, Georgia. Two arrest warrant has been issued for Towns. Telfair County sheriff’s deputies say that they are looking for Ronnie “Jay” Towns and he is currently wanted for giving false statements to investigators, as well as criminal attempt to commit theft by deception. Bud and June Runion have been missing since Thursday, January 22, 2015. The two reportedly were headed to Telfair County, GA to take a look at a 1966 Mustang that they learned about from Craigslist. They have not been seen nor heard from since. Their cell phones appear to have been turned off. The missing couple, both in their 60′s, were driving a pewter/champagne color 2003 GMC Envoy with a Georgia tag of BWU7349.
Steverson says there are two active warrants out for Ronnie “Jay” Adrian Towns: one for making false statements to investigators and the other for criminal attempt to commit theft by deception.
“We were interested in who last had phone contact with the Runions, and this individual did,” says Steverson. “We interviewed Mr. Towns early on in the investigation and the info he provided did not corroborate with our investigation.”

The Telfair sheriff asked anyone with information to call his office at 229-868-6621. Also, anyone with information about the couple’s whereabouts is asked to call Cobb County Police at 770-499-3900.
UPDATE I: Suspect Arrested after Craigslist Couple Goes Missing.
The suspect who police sought in connection with the disappearance of a Marietta, Georgia, couple who had responded to a Craigslist ad, turned himself in Monday morning, the Telfair County Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook page.
