Stuck on Stupid: Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) Belives the US Constitution is 400 Years Old

Yesterday on the House floor, the People’s House, Shelila Jackson Lee (D-TX) declared in her ramblings that the U.S. Constitution was 400 years old. HUH, 400 years old? But that would make the Constitution signed in 1614. I am fairly sure that George Washington, James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and Benjamin Franklin, all signers of the Constitution were not even born in 1614. Who knew that right after Pocahontas and John Rolfe were married in 1614 that they did not go on a honeymoon, but instead started writing the US Constitution.

No wonder we can’t get Democrats to follow the Constitution, they are going off one that might have been written by Pocahontas.

Newsflash to the not so bright Sheila Jackson Lee … The U.S. Constitution was formally adopted on Sept. 17, 1787. But do not let your hearts be troubles, she was only off by 173 years. I think that is considered a passing score with Common Core. Or Maxwell Smart, Agent 86, would say … “missing it by that much”.  Yale and Virginia Law School must be so proud.

These people are in charge of making laws that affect us, REALLY? America, would you please wake the hell up and elect people who might actually have a clue! This latest comment brought to us by the individual who thought that Mars Rover would be able to show “the flag the astronauts planted there before”. Um, that would have been the moon, ma’am.
