CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN … Obama falling in polls as becomes obvious he peaked too soon and experience does matter after all.
WOW … Talk about a disastrous pick for VP by the Chosen One, Barack Obama. Where’s the “Jomentum?” Not only was there no Biden Bounce, in the most recent Gallup tracking poll John McCain now actually has a 46% – 44% lead.
It’s official: Barack Obama has received no bounce in voter support out of his selection of Sen. Joe Biden to be his vice presidential running mate.
Gallup Poll Daily tracking from Aug. 23-25, the first three-day period falling entirely after Obama’s Saturday morning vice presidential announcement, shows 46% of national registered voters backing John McCain and 44% supporting Obama, not appreciably different from the previous week’s standing for both candidates.
Real Clear Politics reports that Rasmussen showed an even bigger overnight move by McCain. Yesterday Obama led McCain by 3 points, 48-45, today Rasmussen shows the race tied at 46.
That fact of the matter is that Obama should have picked Hillary Clinton. A situation that is a sore issue with Clinton supporters. 47% of Democratic women said Hillary Clinton should have been the VP.
