Rush Limbaugh asking Ditto heads to vote for Hillary Clinton? Has the world finally come to an end? Did hell just freeze over and Rush has gone to The Dark Side? No, its just Rush being Rush and its just another Super Tuesday, part deux in Ohio, Texas, RI and VT. What would be better for John McCain and republicans that for Obama and Clinton to so beat each other up in the Democratic primary and go so negative that the winner limps into the general election with a divided, emotional and hostile party? The answer, nothing.
Texas is open. And I want Hillary to stay in this, Laura. This is too good a soap opera. We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically, and it’s obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it and don’t have the stomach for it.
As you probably know, we’re getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying not to be critical there. Mark MacKinnon of McCain’s campaign says he’ll quit if they get critical over Obama.
This is the presidency of the United States you’re talking about. I want our party to win. I want the Democrats to lose. They’re in the midst of tearing themselves apart right now. It is fascinating to watch, and it’s all going to stop if Hillary loses.
So yes, I’m asking to cross over and, if they can stomach it — I know it’s a difficult thing to do to vote for a Clinton — but it will sustain this soap opera, and it’s something I think we need. It would be fun, too. (Full transcript – Fox News)
For all of the Democratic pundits who praise the tremondous turn out and emotion in the Demoractic primaries, you best be very wary. Such emotion for a candidate can be a double edge sword. Do not think that individuals who support Clinton will just automatically support Obama if this primary continues on and gets more personal and nasty. The same can be even more true if Obama wins the majority of pledged delegates and Clinton wins the nomination due to Super Delegates. Does anyone honesty think that disenfranchised black voters will vote for Hillary, if she wins in that manner?
There is a push by Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton in an effort to throw a “monkey wrench” in to the Domocratic Primary process.
A three- to five-point cushion for His Holiness, suddenly evaporating? Get my hopes up, why don’t you. No worries. It’s just my heart.
She leads in two of the last three polls and trails by a solitary point in the other. This thing is winnable, baby. All we have to do is want it enough.
