Another Obama Lie, Remember When Barack Said He Was Not Going after Guns … Now Obama Wants to Enact New Gun Control Measures in 2013

THE LION LYING KING … The 2012 President election is proof-positive that there is a sucker born every minute … This is what happens America when you  reelect a less than honest President to a second term who has no accountability to “We the People”. You thought this president could care less what the people thought during his first term in office, America, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

In 2008 Barack Obama told America that, “ I am not going to take your guns away … it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.” Any you actually believed him. Now America is going to pay for the ignorance of the uninformed voter.

“I believe in the Second Amendment. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away… But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.”

That was then and this is now. President Barack Obama during a Sunday interview this morning on NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ said he would make gun control a priority in his new term, pledging to put his “full weight” behind passing new restrictions on firearms in 2013.

“I’m going to be putting forward a package and I’m going to be putting my full weight behind it,” Obama said in an interview aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I’m going to be making an argument to the American people about why this is important and why we have to do everything we can to make sure that something like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary does not happen again.”

But he has also called on Congress to move quickly to reinstate the federal assault weapons ban and a ban on the sale of high-capacity magazines.

Obama on Sunday repeated those calls and said he would meet with lawmakers on both sides of the aisles to see action.

“I’ve been very clear that an assault-rifle ban, banning these high capacity clips, background checks, that there are a set of issues that I have historically supported and will continue to support,” the president said.

Really, Obama has been clear? More like it depends on what BS story he is using to pander for votes.  Far be it from Obama to exploit the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in an attempt to harm the Second Amendment using the Newtown, CT murders as the excuse. Just like with the fiscal cliff where none of the discussions have a thing to do with deficit or debt reduction, Obama’s far Left anti-gun restrictions will do a damn thing to protect children. Obama’s own Chicago, Illinois has some of the most restrictive gun laws in the country, yet they just had their 500th murder this past week,  the highest amount since 2008. The Lonely Conservative points out that mum is the word for Obama and Dems when it comes to discussing how the left deinstitutionalized the insane so they’re walking among us, or how criminals don’t normally abide by gun laws.
