Anna Nicole Smith Autopsy Delayed … What a Surprise

The saga continues in finding out what caused Anna Nicole Smith’s death as the Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper has delayed making the autopsy findings public. What are you waiting for, Christmas? If the burial took 22 days, we can only speculate how long the autopsy will take.

Broward County Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said he met Wednesday with Seminole police, who told him that additional evidence had been obtained in Smith’s untimely death at age 39.

Perper said it is unlikely but possible that he may change his conclusion based on this additional evidence, so he is postponing his determination for a week or two.

It is hard to imagine after this much time has gone by that they do not know what the cause of death is. Just release the information as enough is enough. Was it a drug overdose, was it complications to pneumonia or something else? Once thing is for certain, three weeks and counting is long enough. One question that begs to be asked and answer; if Anna Nicole Smith was so sick with the fly and a 102+ temperature, why did Howard K. Stern not insist that she stay in the Bahamas? What reason did Smith need to be in Florida? What caring person allows a person that sick with the many other issues that HKS was privy to get on a plane?

FOX News forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Baden said it is unusual to make a delay at this point in an autopsy.

“The cause of death should be patently obvious at this time … it sounds like there may be issues about whether it’s a homicide or not,” he said. (FOX News)
