Wasn’t Barack Obama and his presidency supposed to be about “Hope & Change”?

Is it any wonder why President Barack Obama and his minions like Joe Biden can’t find it in themselves to call it a war on terror, but instead refer to it as an overseas contingency operation? Sadly and most reprehensibly, VP Joe Biden joined the rest of the liberal, moonbat LEFT to calling the Tea Party terrorists.

Vice President Joe Biden joined House Democrats in lashing tea party Republicans Monday, accusing them of having “acted like terrorists” in the fight over raising the nation’s debt limit, according to several sources in the room.

Biden was agreeing with a line of argument made by Rep. Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) at a two-hour, closed-door Democratic Caucus meeting.

How out of touch is this Obama White House when the second in command calls other Americans terrorist because of their beliefs that America should reduce its spending and get its fiscal house in order. That is what Democrats call jihad. REALLY?

Making matters worse, earlier in the day, Biden told Senate Democrats that Republican leaders have “guns to their heads” in trying to negotiate deals. Juxtapose that comment to Gabby Giffords (AZ-D), the US Rep. who was shot in the head by a crazed gunman and was nearly killed  who showed up for the first time in the HOUSE to vote on the Debt Ceiling bill. A note to Joe Biden, that is an example of having a gun to your head, you hateful fool.

From the Gateway Pundit comes Sarah Palin’s response to Biden’s shameful words.

“We’re getting kinda used to being called names. Racists and inciters of violence, and being accused of things that we have nothing to do with. But, I suppose it is a bit more appalling to have been called acting like terrorists by he who is second in command of the most powerful office in the world. It’s quite appalling and certainly proves how out of touch this White House is when it comes to realizing what the silent majority of Americans are seeing and feeling… To being called terrorists by the Vice President is quite appalling. It’s quite vile.

Do Biden and Democrats really think that the Tea Party is a bigger threat to America than terrorists? Sadly, from many of them that appears to be the case. What every happened to that change of tone and rhetoric that Obama called for earlier this year? Imagine people who work hard, pay their taxes and just want to have an America that will not burden their children and grandchildren are called like terrorists by a sitting VP of the United States. UNREAL. This Administration is as vile as it gets. I am guessing that it was not the right moment to call conservatives racists. The Democrat talking point memo must have been call Tea Party terrorists.

At what point does the rhetoric completely get out of control. Sorry, that line in the sand was crossed long ago. As asked at the Lonely Conservative, is this what passes as discourse these days? Sadly, the answer is yes and is it really any different from what Democrats have been doing all along? Who knew wanting to have a balanced budget, paying down US debt and getting our government back to listening to “WE THE PEOPLE” meant you were Al Qaeda?

Ever wonder why the Independents have abandoned Obama and the Democrats? One really does not have to look far to see just how out of touch and confrontational this White House truly is. Biden owes and apology and owes one pronto! Not just this BS excuse of going back on his words and claiming that’s not what he meant or that he was taken out of context. WHAT A DISGRACE.
