US District Court Judge Larry A. Burns Ruled Jared Lee Loughner Mentally Incompetent to Stand Trial in Tuscan Massacre (Death of 6 Wounding 12 including Gabby Giffords)

CRAZY!!!

Jared Lee Loughner, the man responsible for the Tuscan massacre has been found  to incompetent to stand trial by District Court Judge Larry A. Burns. In other words, this guy is out of his mind and has major mental illness that leaves him so delusional and psychotic. One has to wonder how Jared Lee Laughner was walking the streets prior to the mass murder shooting that left six dead and US Rep. Gabby Giffords critically wounded from gun shot to the head.

Jared Lee Loughner’s “major mental illness” leaves him so delusional and psychotic that he is incompetent to stand trial, a federal judge ruled today.

U.S. District Court Judge Larry A. Burns viewed hours of videotape of Loughner, he said, and agreed with the conclusion of the psychiatrist and psychologist who evaluated him: Loughner can’t understand the court proceedings or help his lawyers.

“The defendant was generally unable to provide rational and coherent thoughts,” Burns said.

Even as the judge was making his decision Loughner went mental and began a rant in court that just further proved what kind of a delusional mental case this guy really is. Sorry, but I have to really question how no one saw the signed that this guy was this far out there and obviously a danger to others as well as himself. Where was his parents?

“Thank you for the freak show. She died in front of me,” he said. Then shouted “You’re treasonous!”

A pair of deputy U.S. marshals immediately grabbed Loughner and pulled him out a side door.

Some witnesses heard Loughner’s first words as “Thank you for the free pill” or “Thank you for the free kill,” rather than “freak show.”

Loughner will be taken to a federal psychiatric hospital for evaluation and be up for consideration for in 4 months to see whether is is then competent to stand trial? In any event, Loughner will either spend the rest of his life in a prison or a psych hospital.

Thus in the end as stated at Le·gal In·sur·rec·tion, as much as those on the LEFT wanted to blame political rhetoric and the GOP for this guy, he was just flat out crazy. As stated at CNN, Loughner has no rational understanding, an “irrational distrust of his lawyers” and “has delusions that prohibit him from considering legal defenses.” Really, ya think … what was your first clue?

It still makes me scratch my head  how this lunatic was allowed to walk among us until he finally acted out in a violent manner that resulted in the death of 6 innocent people. How could no one have seen the signs and acted accordingly?

Jared Lee Loughner states that he is not crazy and takes offense to being called crazy. Give him his wish and let the trial go forward.
