As Obama’s poll numbers sink, will The One shift right, or march himself, the Democrat Party and America over the cliff? What do the polls show? There is not one critical problem facing the country on which the president has positive ratings. How ya like that “CHANGE” now?
Barack Obama and Democrats are not in trouble in the polls and in the upcoming 2010 and 2012 elections because Republicans are strongly against Obama and his radical agenda. The Obamamessiah and the Democrat party find them self in trouble because INDEPENDENTS are running away from The One and Democrats as fast as they can. The far LEFT, socialist agenda of Obama is hardly what they voted for.
Barack Obama won the Independent vote 52% to 44% over McCain; however, Obama would be hard pressed to get any where near that Independent vote at the present. In the end, Obama by the numbers is poor all the way around.
The economy is the single most important issue to the American public, yet Obama’s answers have done nothing but drive up the federal deficits to record levels, increase unemployment to over 10% and promise nothing but future taxes. 45% of American voters rate Obama’s performance with the economy as poor. Little by little, the longer Obama is in office, the more “We the People” do not want to hear that it’s GWB’s fault. Obama owns the economy and it is his to fix. That is why he became President. Ultimately, The buck stops with Obama and the childish blame game must come to an end. Man up, or get out.
The WSJ article suggests that with dipping poll numbers and an increasing unemployment number, that Obama would be wise to shift right. However, Obama continues to ignore the will of the people as he forces through his far left agenda in spite of slipping polls.
Mr. Obama’s approval among likely voters has dropped to the low-50s in most polls, and the most recent Rasmussen Reports poll of likely voters shows him slightly below the 50% mark. This is a relatively low rating for new presidents. Mr. Obama’s approval rating began to slide in a serious way in early July, triggered by a bad unemployment report.
All polling shows that Barack Obama is getting poor ratings on dealing with issues important to Americans. Even one high ratings for Obama have come crashing down to earth. However, Obama continues to push an unpopular agenda and has now even stated their will be Immigration reform in the form of Amnesty.

A CNN poll released Nov. 6 found that 47% of Americans believe the top issue facing the country is the economy, while only 17% say its health care. However, the bulk of the president’s efforts over the past six months have been not on the economy but on health care, an issue in which he continues to draw negative ratings.

In a Rasmussen Reports poll taken after the House of Representatives passed health-care reform by the narrowest of margins last Saturday night, 54% of likely voters say they are opposed to the plan with only 45% in favor. Furthermore, in the all-important category of unaffiliated voters, 58% oppose the bill.

The CNN poll also shows that in addition to health care, a majority of Americans disapprove of how Mr. Obama is handling the economy, Afghanistan, Iraq, unemployment, illegal immigration and the federal budget deficit. Put simply, there isn’t a critical problem facing the country on which the president has positive ratings.

An NBC/Wall Street Journal poll conducted from Oct. 22-25 found that the president’s personal ratings have suffered a similar decline. His rating for being honest and straightforward has fallen eight points from January to 33% and his rating for being firm and decisive has fallen 10 points to 27%.
-
Even more fundamentally, a Washington Post/ABC News poll conducted from Oct. 15-18 shows that the president has now reached a point where less than a majority of Americans believe he will make the right decisions for the country.
Obama will continue to lose Independents as Obamacare is tried to be pushed through the Senate. Presently, according to Red State, Obama only has 57 Senators on board. Such a high number is hard to believe seeing that any so-called moderate Senator in a Red state knows that any BS amendments added to get it passed will be stripped out during the conference with the liberal House. A vote for Obamacare would mean a one way all expense paid ticket home.
One would think that the following Senators would not be in favor of Obamacare in the Senate: All Republicans, and Bayh, Evan – (D – IN), Conrad, Kent – (D – ND), Johnson, Tim – (D – SD), Landrieu, Mary L. – (D – LA), Lincoln, Blanche L. – (D – AR), Nelson, Ben – (D – NE) Nelson, Bill – (D – FL) and Lieberman, Joseph I. – (ID – CT) who caucuses with Dems would be a no vote. Lieberman has already stated he would block the bill from coming to a vote.
