48 Year Old Tonya Couch, Mother Named a Missing Person in Hunt for ‘Affluenza’ Teenager, Ethan Couch

Posted in: Crime,Missing Persons,Probation,You Tube - VIDEO

The manhunt for 18 year old Ethan Couch and his mother, 48 year old Tonya Couch, has grown to involve the United States Marshals Service and the F.B.I. The “affluenza” teen  failed to check in with his probation officer on December 10, 2015 but that the office was not notified of his disappearance until Dec. 15. Authorities believe that the mother and son may have fled the country, however, there is no evidence to support that idea. One would assume that they need to use credit cards, unless this was completely planned and they made a large cash withdrawal prior to their disappearance.

Police are stating that this point that although they believe the mother and son are together, they have no evidence that is the case. However, all signs point in that direction. One thing is for certain, this spoiled, rotten POS who has already once gotten away with murder because of a BS defense of “affluenza”and a dumb-ass judge who went along with it is finally going to get what is coming to him and the families, friends and loved ones of those who Couch killed with finally get some justice.

It was a case that captivated the nation, prompting a discussion about wealth and power: A white teenager from a well-off family killed four people in a Texas suburb in June 2013 while driving drunk. At trial, a judge gave the teenager probation after a witness testified that he had suffered from too much privilege — an affliction the witness called “affluenza.”

This month, the case came roaring back after the authorities announced that the teenager, Ethan Couch, 18, had disappeared with his mother before a hearing that could have transferred his case to adult court, possibly resulting in prison time.

On Tuesday, a spokeswoman for the district attorney’s office in Texas’ Tarrant County, Samantha Jordan, said that Mr. Couch had failed to check in with his probation officer on Dec. 10, but that the office was not notified of his disappearance until Dec. 15, leaving the authorities scrambling to make up for lost time.

The manhunt for Mr. Couch and his mother, Tonya Couch, 48, has grown to involve the United States Marshals Service and the F.B.I. Hundreds of leads from across the country have poured in, but no one is sure when the Couches disappeared.

One theory floated by investigators is that mother and son fled the country, Ms. Jordan said, but there is no evidence to support that idea.

UPDATE I: Officials released photos Monday of a pickup truck belonging to Tonya Couch.

Tarrant County Sheriff Dee Anderson said at a press conference Monday morning that authorities believe the mother and son are together, and potentially fled the county in her black 2011 Ford F-150 pick-up.

“We’re trying to account for everything that’s possible,” Anderson said. “And this pickup truck is one thing we can’t account for.”

The truck is a Harley Davidson-themed special edition with 23 inch chrome wheels, and Texas License Plate BC-50945, according to officials. Anderson acknowledged during the press conference that investigators don’t know for sure that Tonya and Ethan couch are together.
