West Hartford Police Officer Refused service at a Dunkin’ Donuts … Was Told “We Don’t Serve Cops Here.”

Posted in: Law Enforcement,WTF,You Tube - VIDEO

WHAT DO YOU THINK WOULD HAPPEN IF A RESTAURANT ESTABLISHMENT TOLD AN LGBT OR BLACK, WE DO NOT SERVE YOU HERE?

This crap is happening far too often and its about time the public just start not going to places and spending money in places that are so disrespectful to authority. According to FOX- CT, a West Hartford police officer was told by an employee at the Dunkin Donuts located at 1234 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford, CT that “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here.” The police officer then walked out of the establishment with the manager and the employee following him, apologizing. Honestly, what is wrong with these people? Can you imagine the outrage and the boycott of their store if they had said the same thing to a black, gay or illegal? Maybe the West Hartford police do not need to do any more drive by’s of the Dunkin Donut’s at night or take their time if there is a call there.

An officer entered the Dunkin Donuts located at 1234 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford to purchase a cup of coffee. The store was busy with a number of customers inside.

According to police, as the officer was standing at the back of the line, an employee looked over at him said loudly, “He didn’t get the message. We don’t serve cops here.”

The officer exited the store without any workers saying anything further. Police said as the officer was returning to his cruiser, he was approached by the manager and the employee who was apologizing and stated she was only joking.

The officer told the employee that instead of apologizing to him, she should apologize to the people in the store who appeared to take offense to her comment.

IT IS SHAMEFUL THAT THIS IS THE WEDGE THAT HAS BEEN CAUSED UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY.

UPDATE I: Police, Community React To Dunkin’ Donuts Worker’s Refusal To Serve West Hartford Cop.

The day after a West Hartford police officer was refused service at a Dunkin’ Donuts, people from Connecticut and across the country reacted on social media.

Dozens tweeted the accounts of the local Connecticut Dunkin’ Donuts franchise group and the national Dunkin’ Donuts headquarters, many users calling for a boycott of the company and for the employee to be fired.

Both accounts answered with the same response: “We are aware, Dunkin’ Donuts & our franchisees share a commitment to the well-being & fair treatment of all of guests. The crew member exhibited poor judgement & the franchisee has apologized to the police officer on behalf of Dunkin’ Donuts.”

Connecticut State Police tweeted support for the franchise on Sunday.

“Despite the actions of 1, we know our friends @DunkinDonuts support us,” the state police account posted.

The tweet was in response to an incident on Saturday at the Dunkin’ Donuts at 1234 Farmington Ave., during which a West Hartford police officer waiting in line was told by an employee that “we don’t serve cops here,” according to a police report.
