Obama the Decision Maker: It Took 16 Hours for Obama to Make up his Mind to OK the Bin Laden Kill Navy Seal Mission

Let’s hope that President Barack Hussein Obama does not take this long to make decisions on the golf course as to what club he is going to choose.

As reported by The Daily Mail, it took President Barack Obama 16 hours to make up his mind as to whether he was going to “go” or “no go” the US Navy Seal incursion mission to kill Osama Bin Laden. When provided the option of getting Osama Bin Laden after months of Navy Seal training and preparation … Obama vacillated 16 hours and could have cost the mission due to events that could have taken place during his angst.

Barack Obama kept military commanders hanging by declaring he would ‘sleep on it’ before taking 16 hours to give the go-ahead to raid Bin Laden’s compound.

Hit squads of specialist Navy Seals – who were not even told who they were preparing to capture – had practiced the mission at two reconstructions of the terror chiefs sprawling compound.

But the president stunned officials when he told a national security meeting that he wanted more time to think – and disappeared out of the room.

‘I’m not going to tell you what my decision is now – I’m going to go back and think about it some more,’ said Obama, according to the New York Times. He then added ‘I’m going to make a decision soon.’

Barack Obama, a decisive leader? Hardly. It appears that the state run media in their infinite chance to make it first appear that Obama was some type of military hawk and decisive Commander in Chief was a smoke scree. A leopard does not change its spots and in the end, even with the killing of Osama Bin Laden, Obama dithered.

The dithering actually plays more to the narrative that we have come to expect from this President. Even so with the release of pictures and videos of the death of Osama Bin Laden. Wouldn’t one think that if a Navy Seal mission was on the table that  pics and video would come of it? Wasn’t the point of using Navy Seals over a missile attack was to prevent collateral damage and to confirm the kill shot? If so, it would have been known and debated months ago as to whether pics would be released to the public. However, this Administration is acting like this is the first to they thought of such a notion. Hardly proactive.
