Obamacare Support Falls Back to Pre-Obama Healthcare Speech to Congress … 52% Oppose – 45% Approve

Posted in: Barack Obama,Healthcare,Obamacare,Politics,Polls

Lipsticking the Obamacare pig … in the end a pig is just a pig and a government take over of Vanderbilt_lipstikhealthcare is one in the same as well.

NO BOUNCE!

Contrary to the LEFT’s spin … Barack Obama’s speech to a joint session of Congress last week was not a game changer. It was a predictable knee jerk bounce in the polls that would come back and settle exactly where it began. Once again as Americans have realized you can’t lipstick a pig, nor can you make a disastrous healthcare plan smell like a rose, support for Obamacare is back to 52% against and 45% approval.

Following President Obama’s speech to Congress last week, support for his health care reform plan increased steadily to a peak of 51% yesterday. However, the bounce appears to be over. The latest daily tracking shows that support has fallen all the way back to pre-speech levels.

This is the reason why you don’t go by daily snap shots of polls, you follow the trend. According to the Rasmussen poll, 23% strongly favor the plan while 41% are strongly opposed.  What was the Rasmussen poll on Obamacare just prior to the President’s speech, 53% opposed and 45% approve.
