Does small town South Carolina have a serial killer on their hands? Five people have been killed in South Carolina and are being linked to one lone male serial killer. The shootings have all taken place in a 10 mile radius of rural Gaffney, SC in Cherokee County. The serial killer, pictured below, is terrorizing a rural community in South Carolina.

Investigators have released a sketch of the suspect, saying he is in his 40s, with salt and pepper hair, about 6-foot-2, and roughly 200 pounds. They think he is driving a silver 1991-1994 Ford Explorer.
An 83 year old mother, Hazel Linder, and her daughter, Gena Linder Parker, were previously shot to death last Wednesday and a 63 year old peach farmer, Kline Cash, was found dead at his home a week ago, June 27. Then most recently, 48 year old Stephen Tyler was killed and his daughter were shot and critically wounded. According to County Sheriff Bill Blanton, all victims that were killed had been shot.
Blanton said all the victims were shot, but he would not say how the deaths were linked. The shootings all occurred within about 10 miles of each other in Cherokee County, a rural community of 54,000 people set amid peach orchards and farms some 50 miles west of Charlotte, N.C.
The serial killer claimed their fifth victim Saturday morning at 11:15 am when 15 year old Abby Tyler died. She had been wounded two days earlier and her father killed as they worked to close the family’s furniture and appliance store near downtown Gaffney
Police say the suspect in his 40s, is around 6’2” and weighs approximately 200 lbs. They say he has blue eyes and salt-and-pepper hair. They think he could be driving a 1991-1994 silver Ford Explorer. Cops say they are unsure if the suspected serial killer is familiar with the area.
