Is Barack Obama Snubbing Muslim Voters to Escape the Stigma? What else Would Barack Hussein Obama Do?

Barack Obama claims that his message is about unity and change. Yet, there appears to be a conscious effort to keep his distance from Muslim voters. Why? Maybe because of Obama and his campaigns weariness of appearing to be Muslim. After all, there have been many internet stories that Obama is a Muslim, even though he claims otherwise. What else would you expect the Obama handlers to do when the candidates name is Barack Hussein Obama? Alienate voters for fear of video clips. Its politically calculated and typical.

The Obama campaign calls their man of unity’s message one of a “tightly wrapped message”. That is code for, we will distance ourselves from anything that appears to be damaging even if it flies in the face of our so-called unity message. Is the Obama message really one of hope and change for all? Or is it a typical message packaged with a cute bow just to get elected?

Mr. Ellison believed that Mr. Obama’s message of unity resonated deeply with American Muslims. He volunteered to speak on Mr. Obama’s behalf at a mosque in Cedar Rapids, one of the nation’s oldest Muslim enclaves. But before the rally could take place, aides to Mr. Obama asked Mr. Ellison to cancel the trip because it might stir controversy. Another aide appeared at Mr. Ellison’s Washington office to explain.

“I will never forget the quote,” Mr. Ellison said, leaning forward in his chair as he recalled the aide’s words. “He said, ‘We have a very tightly wrapped message.’ ” (New York Times)

Barack Obama’s MO is obvious. Embrace something when it is politically expedient and run screaming from it while throwing people under the bus when it is not. Is the Obama treatment of Muslims any different from what he did to the Trinity United Church of Christ after 20 years?

While the senator has visited churches and synagogues, he has yet to appear at a single mosque. Muslim and Arab-American organizations have tried repeatedly to arrange meetings with Mr. Obama, but officials with those groups say their invitations — unlike those of their Jewish and Christian counterparts — have been ignored. Last week, two Muslim women wearing head scarves were barred by campaign volunteers from appearing behind Mr. Obama at a rally in Detroit.

Recent events leave Muslims feeling shunned by the Senator and his campaign.
