WV Senator Robert Byrd Endorses Barack Obama … So Much For Following the Will of the WV People

So much for the will of the West Virginia voters, Senator Byrd tells WV voters that their votes mean nothing. Maybe some would would like to wake the Senator Byrd and tell him Obama lost by 41% points in the WV Primary.
Yes, this story is correct. Robert Byrd is endorsing Barack Obama for President. Byrd’s endorsement is so comical that one does not know where to even begin. So much for Byrd following the will of the people. Byrd does know that he is the “senior” Senator of West Virginia.
He said he had “no intention of involving myself in the Democratic campaign for President in the midst of West Virginia’s primary election. But the stakes this November could not be higher.”
Maybe some one needs to inform Senator Byrd that Hillary Clinton just won his state’s primary 67% to 26%. Does Robert Byrd not care how his own state cares to vote? How can Byrd even think that Obama could carry WV in a general election?
Byrd praised both Obama and Hillary Clinton, saying their “integrity, honor, love for this country and strong belief in our Constitution I deeply respect…
I guess Senator Byrd cares less what Obama’s wife has to say about her honor and love for this country.
“Barack Obama is a noble-hearted patriot and humble Christian, and he has my full faith and support,” Byrd concluded.
Humble Christian? I guess Barack Obama learned his humble Christian ways from sermons like this from the “Humble” Reverend Wright. I guess Senator Byrd has a guilty conscience over his past ways and feels the need to remedy his past even though Obama does not have a prayer of winning WV in the Fall. The Gateway Pundits points out the fact that Byrd endorsing Obama, This Ought To Make Michelle Proud.
This must be where Obama learned his humble Christian ways over the past 20 years.
