Why Politicians are Grandstanding Scum bags with Approval Ratings in the Toilet … Spygate!!! Worry about Doing the People’s Business

Question: Why does Congress have a 20% approval rating?

Answer: Because these arrogant, grandstanding, do-nothing fools have long forgot why they were elected and that they are sent to do the “People” work, not their own selfish, self-serving pathetic attempts at fame. Politicians are so far out of touch with American people’s issues its beyond comprehension.

If anyone ever needed to know why politicians have sunk so far down the credibility totem pole? If people have ever wondered why Congress has an approval rating of 20%? One needs to ask themselves, are these elected officials really doing the work of the American people? Are they focusing on the impending recession in our economy, solving the issue of illegal immigration, concentrating on the war in Iraq or global terrorism? No, some how our politicians focus in the NFL and “Spygate”. WTF,you have got to be joking.

Specter would dare compare the NFL destroying tapes after they had handed out punishment and penalties to the New England Patriots to the CIA destruction of tapes. Are you joking!!! Have you lost your mind? You sir need to be removed from office. While we are at it, with such a low approval rating why don’t we get rid of them all and start from scratch.

Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter wants to focus on “Spygate” two days before the Super Bowl, as he “wanted to hear the NFL’s explanation for the purging of evidence in the infamous “Spygate” case involving the New England Patriots”. What a typical grandstanding political ass. Please do not pathetically try and compare spygate in the NFL to the steroid issue in MLB either. Steroid use is a far bigger and reaching issue that affects not only the NFL but its usage is impacted into College, High School and even Junior High sports.

Specter, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, wrote Goodell again more than a month later, after getting no acknowledgment to the initial communication.
 
Sen. Arlen Specter (R-Pa.) sent two letters to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell requesting information about the “Spygate” incident. The commissioner replied on Jan. 31. Read the letters:

Two days before the Super Bowl, there is plenty of response.

In a phone interview Thursday with The New York Times, Specter said the committee at some point will call on Goodell to discuss why the league destroyed the tapes that revealed the Patriots had been spying on the competition.

“That requires an explanation,” Specter told The Times. “The NFL has a very preferred status in our country with their antitrust exemption. The American people are entitled to be sure about the integrity of the game. It’s analogous to the CIA destruction of tapes, or any time you have records destroyed.”
