There is just something seriously wrong with the LEFT … More from the unhinged LEFT.
Just when you thought you heard it all. Yahoo News Washington bureau chief David Chalian made the following comment that was heard during a live ABC newscast regarding Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are unconcerned about black people in New Orleans being hammered by Hurricane Issac. He said, “They [the Romney's] aren’t concerned at all. They are happy to have a party with black people drowning.” So much for that un-bias media. As stated at The Daily Caller, “When a Republican is president, hurricanes are his fault. When a Democrat is president, hurricanes are the Republicans’ fault. And if you can play the race card as you’re blaming them?”
During live coverage of the Republican National Convention here in Tampa, Yahoo News Washington bureau chief David Chalian provided the perfect example of the pervasive anti-Republican bias Mitt Romney faces in his bid to unseat President Barack Obama.
In video broadcast Monday night by ABC and Yahoo over the Internet, Chalian can be heard claiming that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are unconcerned about the fate of residents of the New Orleans area who are currently being hit by Hurricane Isaac.
“They aren’t concerned at all,” Chalian can be heard on the live broadcast. “They are happy to have a party with black people drowning.”
That line elicits laughter from several employees listening in on the joke.
UNREAL!
The result, it appears that this was even too egregious an act for the liberl MSM to overlook. Yahoo News fires David Chalian.
Yahoo News has fired Washington bureau chief David Chalian after he was caught on a hot-mic during an online video broadcast saying that Mitt Romney and his wife, Ann, had no problem with African Americans suffering as a result of Hurricane Isaac, a source familiar with the situation tells POLITICO.
Yahoo News confirms:
“David Chalian’s statement was inappropriate and does not represent the views of Yahoo!. He has been terminated effective immediately. We have already reached out to the Romney campaign, and we apologize to Mitt Romney, his staff, their supporters and anyone who was offended.”
