Obama’s big negative ad bust …
Barack Obama, the President who promised “Hope and Change,” the President who stated that he would change the culture in Washington, DC has done nothing in his 2012 reelection bid but spend millions of dollars in negative, false campaign ads smearing his GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney. As it turns out, that hope and change candidate as turned into a typical Chicago-machine politician. One would think that with all this one-sided attack by the incumbent president that it would make a difference. Not so fast …
According to the most recent Rasmussen poll of likely voters, Mitt Romney is polling ahead of Barack Obama 46% to 44%. An incumbent politician polling under 50%, never a good sign for reelection. All of Obama’s negative ads have accomplished nothing.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting 46% of the vote, while President Obama earns 44%. Five percent (5%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) more are undecided.
Romney leads by seven among unaffiliated voters and also picks up support from 14% of white Democrats.
So what does any good Saul Alinsky disciple do when something fails … double down of course.
Eventually the campaign is going to come down to a referendum on Obama’s handling of the economy during his first term in office and at that point, the bottom falls out of The One’s campaign.
