Another Democrat to Skip Convention: Add Rep. Henry Cuellar (TX-D) to the Long Growing List … Worse Yet, NC Congressmen Larry Kissell and Hayden Rogers Won’t Endorse Obama

Add US Rep. Henry Cuellar (TX-D) to the long and ever growing list of Democrat law makers that are skipping the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, NC in an attempt to distance themselves from the pomp and circumstance of nominating President Barack Obama. It’s becoming obvious that Barack Obama is hardly going to be welcome in the battleground state House and Senate campaigns for Democrats. The One has pretty much become “The Anchor”.
Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar is joining a growing list of lawmakers who will be skipping their party’s nominating convention this September.
The four-term lawmaker from Texas says he wants to focus his efforts on his reelection bid in his district and will not attend the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, Politico first reported.
Democrats skipping the convention, including West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, Sens. Claire McCaskill (Mo.) and Joe Manchin (W.Va.) and Reps. Nick Rahall (W.Va.), Mark Critz (Pa.), Kathy Hochul (N.Y.), Bill Owens (N.Y.) and Jim Matheson (D-Utah).
Worse yet and even more embarrassing for president Barack Obama is that North Carolina Congressmen Larry Kissell and Hayden Rogers are not going to endorse President Barack Obama. By the way, did we mention that the Convention is to be held in Charlotte, NC? This can hardly be a good omen for Obama in winning the state of North Carolina in 2012. The recent ruling that Obamacare is a tax will most likely have more Democrats running for the hills in days to come.
