Senate GOP Trying to Recruit MSNBC’s RINO Joe Scarborough to Run Against Bill Nelson in 2012 Florida Senate Race

When will Republicans ever learn? JUST SAY NO TO JOE!

Ever wonder why the GOP became the minority in the US Senate by a near super-minority? It was for the exact reasons like the report from The Hill, where the GOP is wooing MSNBC’s Joe  Scarborough to runagainst incumbent Democrat Senator Bill Nelson in Florida. Republican voters do not want RINO’s, especially in a state that in the last election say victory for Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican/Tea party Conservative Marco Rubio.

Republicans in Washington are trying to recruit Joe Scarborough to run against Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) next year.

Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), who heads the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), told The Hill on Thursday that he has talked to Scarborough a couple times about a Senate bid. And he indicated he’s still working on persuading the MSNBC host to run for the upper chamber.

Name recognition, that’s what the blue blood, country club Republicans think that “We the People” want and the country needs? NAME RECOGNITION? One might want to ask what name recognition that Marco Rubio had when he won in a landslide in his Florida US Senate race. As stated by Weasil Zippers, “No effen RINOs. I guess we didn’t make ourselves clear enough last November”. What more message to the clueless GOP establishment need? Did the powers that be in the GOP Senate not learn when they backed RINO, turncoat Charlie Crist? How out of touch is the  NRSC?

Cornyn noted on Thursday that Scarborough’s name ID is higher now than it was back then. Scarborough has been with MSNBC for the past eight years, initially hosting “Scarborough Country” and now “Morning Joe.”

Scarborough is happy with what he is doing, Cornyn stressed. But Cornyn also made it clear that he thinks there is a chance Scarborough could run.
