NEWFLASH TO BARCK HUSSEN OBAMA … YOU ARE NOT, NOR WILL YOU EVER BE “REAGANESQUE’!!!
Today at the White House during Press Secretary Robert Gibbs final press briefing President Obama recounted a tie story from the 2004 Democratic National Convention and then did the unthinkable, referred to himself as the “Gipper”. UNREAL. This president will stop at nothing to try and draw parallels to Ronald Wilson Reagan when there are none. Sadly and predictably. Obama screwed up the quote.
Yes Barack, Its called a football.

“And then somebody — I don’t remember who it was — turned and said, ‘You know what? What about Gibbs’ tie? What about Gibbs’ tie? That might look good.’ And, frankly, Robert didn’t want to give it up because he thought he looked really good in the tie. But eventually he was willing to take one for the gipper, and so he took off his tie, and I put it on. And that’s the tie that I wore at the national convention.”
Attention President Obama, below is Ronald Reagan as George “the Gipper” Gipp. Something you would never even be able to comprehend what is meant by, “win one for the Gipper”. Obama’s reference was “take one for the Gipper”. Obviously not understanding one iota what the saying means at all, yet in his neverending attempt to draw comparisons to Reagan, and failing miserably.
I’ve got to go, Rock. It’s all right. I’m not afraid. Some time, Rock, when the team is up against it, when things are wrong and the breaks are beating the boys, ask them to go in there with all they’ve got and win just one for the Gipper. I don’t know where I’ll be then, Rock. But I’ll know about it, and I’ll be happy.
Win One for the Gipper … Obama might want to watch the VIDEO and learn.
More from The Hill of Obama’s farewell to Gibbs.
Gibbs’s last day came the same day Hosni Mubarak departed as president of Egypt.
“Obviously, Gibbs’s departure is not the biggest one today,” Obama joked.
Gibbs kidded that he will “miss boring days like this at the White House.”
