Once again we are witness to the Barack Obama disconnect with the American people and his reverse Midas touch. This time it is in Arizona and the Governor’s race.
Incumbent governor Jan Brewer now has a 61% support of Republican voters for the AZ GOP primary for governor. Her popularity keeps going up the more that Barack Obama, his minions and his Administration attack Brewer and the Arizona Immigration law. Jan Brewer … a star is born.
Incumbent Jan Brewer now earns 61% support in Arizona’s Republican Primary race for governor, marking her second big monthly gain in a row.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely GOP Primary Voters in Arizona finds businessman Buz Mills a far distant second with 16% of the vote, followed by State Treasurer Dean Martin at 12%. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and nine percent (9%) are undecided.
Brewer has had a remarkable surge in support since signing the state’s new immigration law and becoming a forceful national advocate of the measure despite criticism from President Obama, Mexican President Felipe Calderon and others.
Isn’t it supposed to be a rough political season for incumbents? The media portrays the treatment of illegals by Arizona as evil and the new Immigration law as racial profiling, yet with all that Jan Brewer is now more popular than ever.
Also, special thanks needs to go to Barack Hussein Obama for his “reverse” Midas Touch in opposing Brewer and the AZ Immigration reform law. A law in which 71% of Arizona voter support the new Immigration law. Obama has campained in the past for Coakley in MA, Corzine in NJ, Specter in PA and Deeds in VA. What do they all have in common … they lost. Now Obama by attacking Brewer has in turn provided the greatest gift of all to her and the GOP.
Eighty-nine percent (89%) of GOP Primary voters support the immigration law, and 66% of those voters favor Brewer.
The 61% support for Brewer is up from 45% last month and 26% support the month before.
Instead of protecting Americans and securing the borders, the Obama Administration has decided to sue Arizona over their recent Immigration law. A law in which 56% to 26%believe that the Justice Department should not sue. Barack Obama has once again intervened in a political race and has swayed the advantage to the GOP … thanks Barack.
It cannot be lost that as Jan Brewer’s star rises, Obama’s falls … She is the anti-Obama candidate and is benefiting greatly. Brewer represents a governor who is standing up for the protection of her state against the federal government.Weasil Zippers asks a great question regarding Obama, one that Brewer represents just the opposite.
