Obama & Democrats Think 84% of Americans are Racist … 84% Favor Requiring Individuals to Show Documents Proving Immigration Status

How ouch of touch with America is Obama and the Democrats?
So the Democrats want to stand up and cheer for Mexican President Calderone calling the Arizona law discriminatory and racist, eh? So Democrats really want to take the side that the Arizona immigration law, that mirrors federal immigration law is misguided? Really!
Do Democrats really want to call people racist who agree with the idea that illegal immigration needs to be handled once and for all? Really? How out of touch are these folks, they are willing to thumb their nose at 84% of people while pandering to the Latino vote.
In a new Fox News Dynamics poll, 84% of Americans are in favor of requiring people to show documents proving their immigration status, if officials have reasonable cause to ask for them as stated in the Arizona immigration law. Also, by a 2 to 1 margin, 65 of American voters think states should have right to make their own immigration laws and protect their borders.
84%!!! The only people not in favor of people providing proof of immigration status would have been illegals and Democrat politicians.
A Fox News poll (pdf HERE) finds 65 percent of American voters think states should have right to make their own immigration laws and protect their borders “if they believe the federal government has failed to act,” while 32 percent disagree. Moreover, a 52 percent majority favors their own state passing a bill similar to Arizona’s new immigration law. Some 31 percent would oppose it and another 18 percent is unsure.
Those living in the Midwest (56 percent) and the South (54 percent) are more likely to favor a law like Arizona’s in their state than those in the West (49 percent) or the Northeast (45 percent).
This immigration polling is in line with Rasmussen that shows that support for the Arizona Immigration law is increasing in support as people learn the truth of the law. 71% of Arizona voters now support the law while 55% support the law nationally. However, nationally 69% of voters believe a police officer has the right to check the immigration status of anyone stopped for a traffic violation or violation of some other law if he suspects the person might be an illegal immigrant.
As GOP law makers blast the Mexican President’s comments as inappropriate, one has to wonder what the American voter thinks of the Democrats behavior during the speech. Think that was not inappropriate to stand and cheer a foreign leders comments while an overwhelming majority of Americas are in favor of the rule of law and borders. Let us understand why Arizona did what they did. It was because the federal goverment refused to handle the illegal immigration, crime and drug problems. By handling it, we do not mean granting illegals amnesty.
Hatch said Arizona was forced to pass the immigration law — which compels state law enforcement officials to require proper legal residency papers from people they suspect may be in the U.S. illegally — because of the federal government’s failure to stop drug and human smugglers, as well as illegal immigrants, from coming across the U.S.-Mexico border.
“The state of Arizona is stepping in where the federal government has failed,” said Hatch. “It is trying to stop waves of illegal immigrants, many of whom are dangerous gang members and drug and human traffickers, from crossing into its communities.”
Pollster.com has a break down off all of the polling, not good news for Obama and Democrats.
