In a recent Rasmussen poll, most Americans believe that business leaders make better economic decisions than do government officials. What a novel concept. 51% of Americans believed that decisions made by US business leaders to help their own businesses grow will do more for the economy than decisions made by the government. 33% stated that decisions made by the government will do more and 17% had no idea.
Fifty-one percent (51%) of Democrats have more faith in the economic decisions made by government officials. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans and the plurality (49%) of adults not affiliated with either major party think the decisions of business leaders will do more to help the economy.
In reacting to the nation’s current economic problems, 48% say what worries them more is that the federal government will do too much. Thirty-nine percent (39%) fear the government will not do enough.
I guess the 51% of Democrats above who believe that government can spend their way out of an economic situation falls completely in line with the 53% of Democrats who embrace socialism.
The Gateway Pundit has some interesting data that shows that President Barack Hussein Obama disagrees with a majority of the American people and is once again on the wrong side of the issue. Check out the graph at the Gateway Pundit and see the startling disparage in the lack of private sector experience in the Obama administration. Is it any wonder why the economy continues to flounder and they have no ideas how to get the private sector moving again.
Barack Obama disagrees.
Over 90 percent of Obama officials bring only public sector experience with them to the White House. This beats even Jimmy Carter.
