No he can’t and talk about some real hope and change from the American voters.

In a stunning CNN poll, 52% of Americans think that The One should be one and done. That is correct, by a 52% to 44% vote, We the People say that Barack Hussein Obama does not deserve to be reelected in 2012. My what a difference a year makes.  Obama’s reelection is not until 2012; however, the 2010 midterms by all accounts are predicted to be disastrous for Democrats.

This was part of a CNN poll that stated that that there was an anti-incumbent sentiment among the public as only 34% feel that current federal lawmakers deserve re-election, while 63% say they should not. Even though this CNN poll is harsh on incumbents, both Democrat and Republican, there are other indicators that show that Republicans have the upper hand in 2010 with the voters. Republicans lead Democrats in the Generic Congressional ballot by 9 points, that spells disaster in the midterms. In poll after poll after poll, Republicans lead US Senate races in an attemopt to take back control.

Only a third of U.S. voters think that most members of Congress deserve to be re-elected this year, according to a new national poll. That’s the lowest number ever recorded for that question in a CNN survey.

The numbers on both questions are even lower than in 1994, when an anti-incumbent fever helped Republicans win back control of both the House and the Senate from Democrats. The trend line on those questions goes back to 1991, when they were first asked.

“This is not a good year to be an incumbent, regardless of which party you belong to,” said CNN polling director Keating Holland. “Voters seem equally angry at both Republicans and Democrats this year.”

All political polling indicators point to the fact that 1994 might be child’s play compared what is about to happen to Democrats in the 2010 midterms.
