Hmm … President Obama Gets Booed at MLB All Star Game in St Louis … And Throws Lame Pitch

Posted in: Barack Obama,Sports

“The One” booed in St Louis.

With no Teleprompter to bail Obama out, The One’s pitch is lame and misses the mark. Much like his policies have fallen short of American’s expectations.

I must admit I was a bit surprised to hear Barack Obama booed tonight at the MLB All Star game in St. Louis. The only individual booed louder was Ted Lilly from the hated rival Chicago Cubs. Booed and as The Gateway Pundit says, “And, he threw a sissy pitch”. We should have known after watching this throw from a White House picnic.

What was up with FOX Sports not showing the full pitch? Were they told by Barry’s handlers not to just in case he bounced the ball to home plate because it would have been spread like wildfire on the internet?

One thing is for certain, the Obama bloom is off the rose and people are starting to voice their displeasure with Obama’s policies and the economy.

Just a reminder to Obama … watch the video below and see how a real pitch is thrown by a President.

I am in 100% agreement with Allah Pundit at Hot Air, please, for the love of God stop with the photo ops and let us Americans enjoy a sporting event without showing your mug. Mom jeans, LOL!!!
I’m so bored of watching him that I almost clicked over to the Food Network in disgust. But then I figured he’d probably be on there too, making casseroles with Rachael Ray or whatever, so I stayed put.
UPDATE I: KUDOS to Yahoo Sports to ask the following: Where did it land? Was it a strike or wasn’t it? Why didn’t the network choose a better camera to shoot from?

Mr President, you better stick to basketball

What a crock by FOX Sports and MLB in showing America Obama’s first pitch of last nights 80th Al-Satr Game. Watch the VIDEO. BTW Fox sports commentators, he didn’t get it to the plate. Obama’s lollipop throw did not reach home plate as Albert Pujols was standing on home plate and had to reach forward to catch Obama’s pitch.
Where did it land? Was it a strike or wasn’t it? Why didn’t the network choose a better camera to shoot from? Those were the questions that viewers of baseball’s All-Star Game were asking themselves at home after Fox elected to show President Barack Obama’s ceremonial first pitch at the 80th All-Star Game from a tight angle.

Ruling as a part-time umpire who had a good view from the pressbox at Busch Stadium, Obama’s pitch was a no-doubt-about-it ball, even factoring in an expanded strike zone for the Commander-in-Chief. Obama’s southpaw delivery was a little short of the plate
After all the stories of Obama throwing the first pitch and all the groveling and segments that ESPN and other outlets did on having MLB players give advice to Obama on how to throw the first pitch … Fox Sports never even captured the picture live. Why not? How difficult could it be to get Obama and Puljos in the same frame and show the pitch? We had to wait for instant replay to see the pitch, unreal.

Other blogs discussing what will be known in baseball lore as, “The Pitch”.

  • Macsmind: Freaking Embarrasing. Man UP!
  • Swampland: He had been practicing to throw like that? You are kidding!
