Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal Says IRS Officials Deserve Prison Time

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal believes that IRS officials responsible for the IRS scandal where the Internal Revenue Service illegally targeted Conservative organizations should go to jail.  Jindal will call the matter “simply un-American” and when you take away Americans civil rights and freedoms away, “When you do that, you go to jail.” This is much the same opinion that came out early this week when GOP Speaker of the House John Boehner stated, “My question is who’s going to jail over this scandal.” What are the odds that anyone is going to go to jail over this scandal? Personally, this needs to be investigated like one would the mob. Start with the small fish and threaten to put them away until they keep trading up to see just how high this goes.

Jail

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will use a Saturday speech to Virginia Republicans to suggest the IRS officials who targeted conservative political organizations for scrutiny be sent to prison.

“You cannot take the freedom of law-abiding Americans, whether you disagree with them or not, and keep your own freedom,” Jindal, a Republican, will tell delegates at the Virginia GOP convention, according to remarks shared with POLITICO. “When you do that, you go to jail.”

Channeling the growing fury on the right over the IRS scandal, Jindal will call the matter “simply un-American.”

But instead of jail time,  Sarah Hall Ingram, who served as commissioner of the office responsible for tax-exempt organizations between 2009 and 2012, during the period of time when the IRS targeted Conservative organization was given a bonus and rewarded with heading the IRS department responsible for the implementation of Obamacare.
