Nancy Pelosi Says Hillary Clinton Democrats Best Shot in 2016, as Obama Battles for Reelection in 2012

Talk about your lack of confidence and focus for their President seeking reelection …

As Democrat Barack Obama heads into a tough reelection 2012 campaign for the Presidency, Democrat House Minority Leader provides and underhanded slap to Barack. As reported at the Politico, regarding Hillary Clinton … “She’s our shot” that year. Quite interesting that Hillary Clinton continues to take the spot light away from Obama. Just how many Democrats have buyer’s remorse and wish they had voted for Hillary in the 2008 Democrat primaries?

Nancy Pelosi, who touched off a new wave of Hillary Clinton-for-president buzz two months ago by talking up the secretary of state as a 2016 candidate, keeps it up in an interview with the Chronicle’s Carla Marinucci:

Pelosi is upbeat about the prospects for a female president in her lifetime, namely her friend Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“Why wouldn’t she run? She’s a magnificent secretary of state,” Pelosi said when asked about Clinton’s prospects in 2016. “She’s our shot” that year, Pelosi said.

Why wouldn’t she run? Well, if hell freezes over and Obama is reelected, the United States is going to be in such disarray the last thing that the voters would want is another liberal Democrat. Also, if Romney wins and fixes the economy, how does Hillary even think that she could win? That’s how Nancy.  Democrats are in the middle of a 2012 election year that could see them lose the White House and the Senate to Republicans. Why on Earth are they talking about 2016?
