Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick Behind in Polls to Republican Challenger Christy Mihos

Yet another Democrat incumbent Governor is in trouble in the polls.
In a recent Rasmussen poll, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick lost ground to Republican challenger Christy Mihos 40% to 35%. In June, Mihos had a 1% lead over Patrick. The important part of polls is not the snap shot, but trending. Patrick seems to be losing ground as is President Barack Obama in the health care debate. How much of the anti-incumbent sentiment against Democrats is tied to Barack Obama and his waning poll numbers with Obamacare and Obamanomics?
Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick has an even longer way to go now if he wants to win a second term next year.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Massachusetts voters shows the Democratic incumbent trailing potential Republican challenger Christy Mihos 40% to 35%. Eleven percent (11%) like some other candidate, and 15% are not sure.
