Black Turnout Falls in Early Voting, This Does not Look Good for Hillary Clinton

WHO HONESTLY THOUGHT THAT BLACK TURNOUT TO VOTE WOULD BE THE SAME FOR HILLARY AS IT WAS FOR BARACK OBAMA?

The NY Times is reporting that African-Americans are not showing up to the polls in early voting in large numbers like they have in the past. Wow, what a shocker!!! Okay, unless you were a Hillary Clinton “yes” minion, an “always” Hillary voter or a member of the liberal media, no one in their right mind could honestly say that Hillary Clinton would garner the same number of the black vote as did Barack Obama in 2008 or 2012. To make such a comment would be ignorant. The dishonest media created polling models based around the fact that the black vote would support Hillary like they did Obama. Really, is that racist? Now Bill Clinton may have been the first black president, Hillary is far from it. How could anyone think that blacks would not show up in greater numbers for one of their own than for an old, tired white woman? Needless to say, her dishonest actions have also probably caused many just to stay home and sit this one out. Although early voting is not a predictor of a race, Democrats have always crowed that they were the kings of early voting. Hmm, this time, not so much.

Does this mean that Trump will get a greater percentage of the black vote than past GOP presidential candidates, maybe. He has made a concerted effort for their vote with the promise of school vouchers and a New deal. However, even if Trump gets the same percentage, the volume of the vote is not going to be there for Hillary.

More bad news for Hillary

African-Americans are failing to vote at the robust levels they did four years ago in several states that could help decide the presidential election, creating a vexing problem for Hillary Clinton as she clings to a deteriorating lead over Donald J. Trump with Election Day just a week away.

As tens of millions of Americans cast ballots in what will be the largest-ever mobilization of early voters in a presidential election, the numbers have started to point toward a slump that many Democrats feared might materialize without the nation’s first black president on the ticket.

The reasons for the decline appear to be both political and logistical, with lower voter enthusiasm and newly enacted impediments to voting at play. In North Carolina, where a federal appeals court accused Republicans of an “almost surgical” assault on black turnout and Republican-run election boards curtailed early-voting sites, black turnout is down 16 percent. White turnout, however, is up 15 percent. Democrats are planning an aggressive final push, including a visit by President Obama to the state on Wednesday.

But in Florida, which extended early voting after long lines left some voters waiting for hours in 2012, African-Americans’ share of the electorate that has gone to the polls in person so far has decreased, to 15 percent today from 25 percent four years ago.

The problems for Democrats do not end there. In Ohio, which also cut back its early voting, voter participation in the heavily Democratic areas near Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo has been down, though the Clinton campaign said it was encouraged by a busy day on Sunday when African-American churches led voter drives across the state.

Note: You can probably add the youth vote as not showing up as well. They backed Bernie Sanders in the Democrat primary and in the wake of the Wikileaks emails that all but shows their candidate was screwed over by Team Hillary, the DNC and the media, watch for them to stay home too.
