Georgia School District Investigating Mass Baptism at Football Practice at Villa Rica High School

Posted in: Atheists,Education,High School,Religion,WTF

HOW MANY TIMES MUST WE SAY THIS … THERE IS NO SUCH THING IN THE US CONSTITUTION AS SEPARATION O CHURCH AND STATE …

BAPTISM BY FOOTBALL … Really, this is a story? A Georgia school district is investigating … not a mass murder attempt, not a gang rape, not mass use of alcohol or drugs or an outbreak of sexually transmitted diseases on at a high school, but instead a mass baptism. Yes, you read that correctly, the horror, the shame, the injustice of it all, a mass baptism. The the hell has this country come to? The insanoids and trouble makers from the Freedom from Religion cult are once again at it again inflicting their Godless ways upon We the People. It appears that a bunch of football players and their coach were baptized on the field of Villa Rica High School before a practice. And the crime was? No one was forced to do anything. Although the trouble makers from Freedom from Religion want to cause problems. Maybe these people need to find their own piece of America and live in solitude so that they don’t force their ways upon us. You know, that whole freedom of choice thing.

There is something seriously wrong, where a mass baptism is bad and handing out of condemns without parents permission is okay. Baptism bad, common core good. WTF!!!

Baptism Football

A Georgia school district is investigating after video of a mass baptism was posted on YouTube.

The video, posted by First Baptist Villa Rica, was shot on school grounds just before football practice. “We had the privilege of baptizing a bunch of football players and a coach on the field of Villa Rica High School! We did this right before practice! Take a look and see how God is STILL in our schools!” the caption with the video reads.

By Tuesday evening, the video had been removed from YouTube.

The Carroll County School system released a statement Tuesday afternoon:

“The Carroll County School System was made aware of a situation that took place at Villa Rica High School prior to football practice on August 17th.  The District is currently looking into the specifics of this situation and will take appropriate steps to ensure all state and federal laws are followed.”

No one was harmed and no one was forced to do something against their will.

The phrase “separation of church and state” itself  appears no where in the United States Constitution. The First Amendment states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” How in the hell is a baptism of football players have anything to do with Congress making a law establishing a religion?
