MIA Since Before Election … Bill Ayers is Now a Media Darling … Good Morning America from an Unrepentant Terrorist

How would the news media treat Bill Ayers if he blew up abortion clinics or blew up government buildings for a cause against say Barack Obama’s policies? However, when its America hating … it gets its 15+ more minutes of fame on GMA.

They are all coming out of the woodwork now that the Presidential election is over and they can do no damage to Barack Obama. First Reverend Wright and now an all to conveniently timed interview with Bill Ayers.  Bill Ayers has been ducking interviews and MIA prior to the election now Bill Ayers says Good Morning to America … I am not really a terrorist, I did not kill anyone, I just blew things up.

Michelle Malkin reminds us that Ayers comments regarding killing people is just more spin.

Ayers adamantly denied that the Weather Underground engaged in terrorism because it didn’t “target people to kill and injure them.” Oh, yeah? Tell it to the families of Waverly Brown, Edward O’Grady, and Peter Paige.

During the ABC interview with Chris Cuomo, Ayers says the following:

The child’s mother Ayers defended his bomb-throwing past and repeated a statement that has infuriated his critics: “I don’t think we did enough.”

The college professor also argued to “Good Morning America’s” Chris Cuomo today that the bombing campaign by the Weather Underground, the group he helped found, was not terrorism.

The Weather Underground bombed the Capitol, the Pentagon and the New York City Police Department in protest of the Vietnam War.

“It’s not terrorism because it doesn’t target people, to kill or injure,” Ayers said.

As the Gateway Pundit reiterates, amazingly enough the MSM just get around to interviewing Bill Ayers who still to this day believes he was on the right side when he was bombing US government office.

Keeping some what to the Obama campaign rehearsed spin, on “GMA,” Ayers again downplayed any close ties to Obama despite the reference to “family friend.”

So now we are supposed to believe that there was justification to the actions of Bill Ayers and the Weather Underground. Because it was a violent time and the were doing it a a cause makes it different. So I guess that Bill Ayers would also be in favor of blowing up abortion clinics as they are doing it to support a cause as well. Hmm?

But he was un apologetic about his militant actions during the Vietnam War.

“What you call the violent past, that was a time when thousands of people were being murdered every month by our own government. … We were on the right side,” he told “AMA.”

The co-founder of the Weather Underground was, as McCann has claimed, unrepentant about the the bombings his group committed during the 1960s.

“The content of the Vietnam protest is that there were despicable acts going on, but the despicable acts were being done by our government. … I never hurt or killed anyone,” Ayers said.

“Frankly, I don’t think we did enough, just as today I don’t think we’ve done enough to stop these wars,” he said.
