ABC’s 20/20 Looks Into The Caylee Anthony Case Tonight. Were the Anthony’s Paid A Million Dollars For The Exclusive? Also, News Of A Book And Movie Surface With Similar Price Tags

In the wake of those claiming to be public relations representatives for the Anthony family accusing Texas Equusearch and Scared Monkeys of profiteering off of missing persons cases, sources close to the Caylee Anthony investigation have informed us of a series of high-dollar financial deals struck with the Anthony family regarding the case.

Television critics are reporting that ABC’s 20/20 news magazine will be highlighting the case on tonight’s show.

Sources close to the case have suggested that ABC has agreed to pay the Anthony family $1,000,000.00 for exclusive interviews to discuss Caylee’s disappearance. Those same sources have also shared with us news that a Book and Movie deal has been struck with a Nashville, TN production company. These observations are being echoed by others who have come in contact with the case, including crime writer David Lohr.

In Lohr’s blog, he writes:

As an FYI, a source close to the investigation has told me that ABC News 20/20 has offered the Anthony family one million dollars for an exclusive interview. The same source claims that AIM Productions from Nashville has also offered the family one million for book and movie rights.

Is it not also ironic that ABC’s parent company, The Disney Corporation, having such close ties with the city of Orlando, Florida – not to mention being such a massive force in children’s entertainment – would be rumored to give such a large amount of money in exchange for an interview with someone with such a questionable story?
