Missing College Student Jessica Ronhock Found Dead In Arizona …

The Arizona Department of Public Safety have informed Elmira Police that they have found Jessica Ronhock’s vehicle near Flagstaff, AZ. There was a deceased female found inside the car that is believed to be Jessica Ronhock.  Hunters found the  Jeep in a ditch off Interstate 17, about 200 yards below a scenic overlook. Authorities do not know the cause of the wreck. They believe the vehicle had been there for at least two months.

Elmira Police say Arizona authorities have found a body they believe to be that of missing Elmira College Student Jessica Ronhock. Elmira Police say the Arizona Department of Public Safety found 21 year old Ronhock’s car about 25 miles south of Flagstaff, Arizona.

A deceased female, believed to be Ronhock was found in the vehicle. The Coconino Medical Examiner’s office will make the final identification.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is currently conducting an investigation into the incident. More information will be released as appropriate and becomes available.

21 year old Jessica Ronhock had been reported missing on January 19, 2012 and had not been seen since January 10 at Elmira College on when she left a note for her roommate saying was returning home for a “family emergency”. Jessica Ronhock never returned home and her family stated that there was never a family emergency.  The family had no knowledge that Ronhock left college or why she did.Police had confirmed that she had been in several states using her crerdit cards.

Police confirmed Ronhock had been in Chattahoochee, FL, on Jan. 12. Her credit cards were used in Baytown, TX, on Jan. 17, and Williams, AZ, on Jan. 18. Police said that video footage from a Days Inn at Williams in northwest Arizona shows a woman who appears to be Ronhock.
