“Pry My Ford Focus or my wallet Over My Cold Dead Hands” Says Lumpy Lambert

So when one is faced in a standoff when a robber has a .25 caliber hand gun and the victim has a .380 caliber, what makes the difference? Maybe when the victim is wearing an NRA cap and is about to blow a hole the size of Kansas in you.
Such was the case when Knoxville County Commissioner, Lumpy Lambert, faced potential robber, 19-year-old Kane Stackhouse. Who says that perceptions and marketing does not count? Wonder if Stackhouse would have run off if Lumpy was wearing a “Code Pink” hat?
Greg “Lumpy” Lambert says he grew suspicious Saturday when a customer didn’t price haggle over a 2005 Ford Focus
The young man didn’t ask for a mechanical inspection, either.
At the time of the robbery, Lambert was wearing a baseball cap that read, “Friends of the NRA.” He says the would-be robber never asked for money or made demands — but then, he didn’t get much of a chance to. (WBIR)
The lesson learned here is don’t “Mess With Lumpy.” Lumpy earned national recognition in 2000 when he ran the “Buy a Car, Get a Gun” promotion at his car dealership. Obviously Stackhouse was not familiar with that promotion.
