Paris Hilton arrested in Hollywood on Suspicion of DUI

Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood at approximately 12:30 am Thursday for driving under the influence. Apparently she was “driving erratically.”

“The officers observed that Hilton exhibited the symptoms of intoxication. A field sobriety test was conducted at scene, and the officers determined she was driving under the influence,” Isabella said, reading a police statement.

Guess Paris Hilton was not getting enough media  attention these days. Maybe she just wanted to be featured at The Smoking Gun. Still waiting to see if the Smoking Gun  will have arrest pictures.  The spin from the Hilton camp regarding the incident  is as follows:

  

“She’s absolutely fine,” Mintz said. “She didn’t appear in the least bit to be intoxicated.” At the time of her arrest, Hilton was driving home in her Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren from a charity event where she had one drink, a margarita, he said. She had spent the day shooting a music video for her new album, “Paris.” The driving under the influence symptoms were “probably the result of an empty stomach and working all day and being fatigued,” Mintz said.

Paris Hilton not eating and on an empty stomach, isn’t that hard to believe. Guess she should have taken advantage of some of her previous advertising and gone to Carl’s Jr for a burger.

she says, was only a few blocks away– and may have been going a little fast because she was “starving” and just wanted an In-N-Out Burger!

What part about DUI don’t the beautiful people get? It does not matter whether someone has one drink or ten. If you are impaired and driving erratically, that is a crime. The amount of drinks is irrelevant. By the way, can’t Paris Hilton afford a driver? Or at least a cab to bring her home?
