2010 early election polls you can believe in …
DEMOCRATS … Do not say that you were not warned. The polling trend has begun, 2010 represents change we can all believe in as Obama and Democrats have completely misread and overstated their change mandate.
The One, could be One and Done in 2012 … 58% say next President likely Republican
Democrats in Congress and President Obama have not understood the common thread of the fire and anger expressed by “We the People” in town hall meetings and Tea Parties when it comes to taxes, deficits, spending and government take over. It is “We the People” that can hire you and “We the People” can FIRE YOU!
Just so that Barack Obama, Axelrod and the rest of Obama’s spin machine and minions understand what the 2009 year elections means … read it an weep. According to a recent Rasmussen Poll, 58% of American voter say it is at least somewhat likely the next president of the United States will be a Republican. Forgive me President Obama, but that 58% represents a greater mandate than what you were elected with in 2008. It would appear that “We the People” wish to make another change and it does not include you. Forget the fact that Republicans obviously overwhelmingly expect the next President to be Republican, it’s the 60% of unaffiliated voters that The Obamamessiah needs to concern himself with.
Sixty-six percent (66%) of men expect the next president to be a Republican, compared to 52% of women.
Eighty-five percent (85%) of Republicans see a member of their party winning the presidency as likely, including 57% who see it as very likely. Sixty percent (60%) of voters not affiliated with either major party think they’re right, but just 31% of Democrats agree.
Barack Obama finds himself with a Daily Presidential Tracking Poll of -10%. Basically, 40% of American voters strongly disapprove of Obama performing his role as President while only 30% strongly approve.
For those of you in Congress, especially the Blue Dog Democrats and other moderate Democrats who think you are in safe districts, 49% of US voters now say it is at least somewhat likely that Republicans will win control of Congress next year. What a difference a year makes, eh? Last year after the 2008 elections the Republican party was all but dead and Democrats were dancing in the street. The election of Republican governors in Virginia and New Jersey, both states won easily by Obama in 2008 show that there is a shifting trend to Republicans and that no Democrat House or Senate seat is truly safe.
Why does anyone think that 39 Democrats sided with Republicans against Pelosicare? 31 of them represent districts that voted for John McCain over Barack Obama.
Seventy-three percent (73%) of Republicans think it is likely that their party will regain control of the Senate and the House. Just 55% of Democrats say it’s unlikely. Even more telling is that 31% of Republicans say it is very likely, compared to 12% of Democratic voters who rate it as not at all likely.
A plurality (49%) of voters not affiliated with either party see the GOP returning to the majority in Congress.
Eighty-two percent (82%) of GOP voters and 55% of unaffiliateds say Republicans will gain seats in Congress next year. Sixty percent (60%) of Democrats say their party will increase its majorities.
What’s changed? Change you can’t believe in, that’s what! We now have unemployment over 10%, out of control federal spending and partisan liberal legislation like Cap & Trade and Obamacare that will drive our federal deficits out of control, lose jobs and adversely affect the economy. 52% of all voters say Republicans are the party most likely to gain seats in Congress in next year’s mid-term elections. This trend can only get worse if the economy stays the same or unemployment gets worse as predicted by economists by the time the mid term election roll around in 2010.
So what does Obama and Democrats continue to do? Go against the will of the people. Push through a liberal agenda like Tax & Trade and Obamacare-Pelosi edition that will not only harm the economy, but raise the federal deficit. Acts like this, will only make the American people more upset and toss out Democrat incumbents in what the Donkeys perceive as safe states and districts. This Administration, Pelosi and Reid have ignored and infuriated the electorate. Come election day 2010 and 2012, there will be a judgment day for Obama and the Democrats.
