My what a difference 4 years makes, “Hope & Change” has distance yourself from Obama, who has gone too far Left.

In 2008 Rep. Artur Davis (AL-D), the four term Democrat Congressman, seconded the nomination of Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention as he served as an Obama campaign co-chairman. However, that was then, this is now. Not only has Artur Davis left the Democrat party, but now he is totally distancing himself from Barack Obama. Davis is now supporting and stumping for the Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Artur Davis former Obama campaign chair says  Biden’s remarks are “racial viciousness”

A former four-term Democratic congressman from Alabama and one time strong supporter of President Barack Obama will campaign for Mitt Romney Wednesday.

A Romney campaign aide confirms to CNN that Artur Davis will stump for the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in the battleground state of Virginia.

“I think the Obama administration has candidly gone too far to the left.

The wheels are coming off the bus.

UPDATE I: Former Obama campaign co-chair: Biden’s remarks ‘racial viciousness’

Artur Davis, the former four-term Democratic congressman from Alabama, said Wednesday that Vice President Joe Biden was propagating “racial viciousness” when he said Mitt Romney’s regulatory policies would “put y’all back in chains.”

Biden made the comments Tuesday to a predominantly black crowd in Danville, Virginia, a city with a long history of racial tension. In May Davis announced he was switching to the GOP, leaving the door open to a future political bid as a Republican.

UPDATE II: Artur Davis announced that he will speak at the Republican National Convention. Yes, that is not a typo, the man that just four years ago seconded the nominated Barack Obama as the Democrat candidate, will be a speaker at the Republican convention in 2012.
