Joran Van der Sloot says, “if missing teen is found, I’d hate her”

Posted in: Aruba,Joran Van der Sloot,Natalee Holloway

Joran van der Sloot went on ABC’s Prime Time last night and proved two things:

  • 1. There is a reason why clients should listen to their attorneys and keep their mouths shut.
  • 2. Joran Van der Sloot was not ready to be a “prime time” player.

Some of the more memorable quotes from last night that many including Karen Janssen, the Kalpoe’s attorney and John Q. Kelly will be looking at over the coming days. Joran Van der Sloots delusion is that for some reason people are now supposed to believe him. With an ever changing story and zero credibility it literally comes to who lies less, Joran or the Kalpoe’s?

Hate is such a strong emotion. Makes people do terrible things. An amazing comment to come from his mouth about an individual that most all believe has passed.

But van der Sloot also said if he could speak to Holloway now, he wouldn’t have anything nice to say.

“If I were to see her … if she were to be found tomorrow, I think I’d hate her,” he said. “If she really ran away from home, if she did something like that, I’d hate her.” (What would you do if she said, no?)

Joran, trust is a two-way street. Joran would have the audacity to make references about trust? This is actually almost comical. I have never told you the truth yet, however, now you must believe me.

“I don’t trust the media, and I don’t think, I don’t really care, if the media trusts me or not,” he said. “I want to be trusted, and you earn that trust by telling the truth. And that’s what I am trying to do. … I’m just happy that I told the story. I said what happened, and that’s good.”

In another great example of the pot calling the kettle names,

Eventually, van der Sloot and his friends Deepak and Satish Kalpoe admitted that the Holiday Inn story was a lie. According to police documents, the Kalpoe brothers then turned on van der Sloot, saying neither of them had driven him home from the beach that night.

Van der Sloot said they were lying.

Joran do you really know why it was wrong? Or is it only wrong now because Natalee Holloway is missing?

Van der Sloot said that he was picked up by a friend at the beach but that Holloway refused to join him. He said he left her behind, which he now admits was the wrong thing to do.
