AMBER ALERT Issued for 12 Year Old Brooklyn Smith Missing from Gainesville, GA Since 7/29/16

An AMBER ALERT has been issued for 12 year old Brooklyn Smith, she has been missing since Friday, July 29, 2016 from Gainesville, Georgia. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office stated Brooklyn Smith was last seen near her home in the 2900 block of Lullwater Trail by her mother getting into a black or dark colored passenger car, possibly an early model Ford Taurus around 2:30 a.m. Friday. Police believe she may be with 31-year-old Steven Spires, her biological father who recently lost custody rights in court.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old girl, Brooklyn Smith, missing from Hall County.

Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff’s office said she was last seen by her mother at their Gainesville home in the 2900 block of Lullwater Trail, getting into a black or dark-colored passenger car, possibly an early-model Ford Taurus at 2:28 a.m. Friday.

The child is considered to be at risk and believed to be in the metro Atlanta area.

She is described as 5-feet-2-inches tall, and weighing about 100 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.

Hall County authorities said she may be with 31-year-old Steven Spires. Spires is described as a white male, 5-feet-6 inches tall, weighing 142 pounds. He has blue eyes and short brown hair.
